Attorney Bompadre is a graduate of B. Reed Henderson Senior High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Following High School, he attended West Chester University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in 1989. After graduating from West Chester University, Attorney Bompadre began his career in the criminal justice field as an Adult Probation and Parole Officer in Chester County. During his employment with the Chester County Adult Probation department, he attended numerous training seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. Attorney Bompadre also attended the Delaware County Municipal Police Academy during his time with Adult Probation, where he graduated second in his class of 1991. Following graduation from the Police Academy, Attorney Bompadre left probation and parole work to become a police officer with the Media Borough Police Department in Delaware County, where he served with distinction for ten years. During his employment with the Media Police, Attorney Bompadre also attended numerous training seminars. Attorney Bompadre is a graduate of t he 1996 FBI Intercounty Detective School, is certified by both the Traffic Institute for Police Services in Standardized Field Testing Procedures, as well as holding certification by the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division in Drug Identification and Field Testing. Attorney Bompadre also attended drug related training with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. During his tenure with the Media Police, Attorney Bompadre participated in hundreds of complex criminal investigations.
In 1998 Attorney Bompadre began a course of studies at the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware, culminating in his graduating with his law degree in 2001. At Widener, Attorney Bompadre was named to the Dean’s Honors list, was awarded a staff membership position on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law (“Law Review”), was President of the law student division of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity for Honors students. Attorney Bompadre began his legal career in 2001 as an Assistant District Attorney in Berks County, later continuing at the District Attorney’s Office in Wayne County, where he prosecuted numerous felony cases and obtained significant jury trial experience. Attorney Bompadre is a 2002 graduate of the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Institute, and was an active member of the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association during his tenure as an Assistant District Attorney. Attorney Bompadre has also argued appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Prior to founding his own law firm, Attorney Bompadre worked for prominent private law firms, one in Harrisburg, PA handling only criminal matters, and another in West Chester, PA, where he supervised a busy 4 attorney criminal practice group. He has defended hundreds of cases, many to trial, including major felonies such as Attempted Homicide, Rape, Child Pornography, Drug Charges and other serious offenses. Attorney Bompadre has personally represented clients in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Snyder, Juniata, Perry, Union, Lebanon, Lehigh, Lancaster, York, Franklin, Northumberland, Carbon, Mifflin, Bradford, Schuylkill, Monroe, Delaware, Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties. Attorney Bompadre is a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations, and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Attorney Bompadre also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Genesis Pregnancy Care Center, a non-profit organization in Pottstown, PA.
