About Lauren
Prior to law school, Ms. Hue attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology in May 2012. During law school, Ms. Hue clerked for multiple law firms including Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette of Baton Rouge, LA and The Law Office of John B. Lambremont, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA. Additionally, Ms. Hue interned with the Louisiana Department of Justice, Office of Attorney General during Summer 2016. Ms. Hue earned her juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center in December 2016 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2017. Currently, outside of her own practice, Ms. Hue is contracted with the Lafayette Parish Indigent Defender Office and the Iberia Parish Public Defender's Office. She has experience working with the District Attorney's Office, Department of Corrections, and Office of Juvenile Justice. Additionally, Ms. Hue has experience with divorces under Louisiana Civil Code Articles 102 and 103 as well as child custody and child support issues in Louisiana.
