Mr. Rothstein graduated cum laude from Thomas M Cooley Law School Thomas M Cooley Law School in December 2008. After passing the bar in May, 2009 Mr. Rothstein opening up his law firm in DeWitt Michigan. 40% of his clientele are bankruptcy related. Since opening up his practice he has filed in excess of 100 cases specializing in chapter 7 and 13 cases. He has filed approximately 8-10 chapter 13 cases in the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Rothstein has attended many CLE Bankruptcy seminars at a pace of almost 1 per year. In 2010 he attended several ICLE seminars and qualified for their bankruptcy certificate. In November 2011 Mr. Rothstein attended the one day CBA Seminar in Detroit. Since 2011 he has attended the annual Western District of Michigan FBA Bankruptcy seminars held in Northern Michigan. He has also attended several seminars put on by the Western District US Trustee.
With over 9 years’ experience and well in excess of 70 hours of continuing education an hourly rate of $220.00 per hour is reasonable
