About Mary
I am a University of Missouri-Columbia alumna who worked over 31 years for my alma mater. I worked primarily in grants and contracts administration, but also held positions in business management, human resources, and fiscal operations. After working for the University of Missouri-Columbia, I chose to pursue a life-long dream of being an attorney. I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law as a non-traditional student. During law school, I worked for the Veterans Clinic helping to appeal disability claims and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinic preparing personal income tax returns. After receiving a Juris Doctorate and passing the Missouri Bar exam, I began working for the State of Missouri as a Hearing Officer in Child Support Enforcement. This quasi-judicial position required me to conduct telephone hearings addressing child support, establishment, enforcement, and modification issues and to render written decisions for each hearing. After working in this position for two years, I decided to pursue another life-long dream of becoming a small business owner and open my own law office.
