About Laurie

I grew up in the Chicago area but since 1995 I have made the St. Louis area my home. I served 11 years in the Air Force, stationed at Scott Air Force Base, in both the administrative field and as a JAG paralegal. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies at University of Illinois-Springfield. I worked full time through law school as a legal secretary and graduated in 2007 from Saint Louis University School of Law. I practiced insurance defense litigation for the first part of my career and opened my own office, then called Laurie A. McMillan Attorney at Law in 2013. The firm name changed to McMillan Dodd Law Firm in 2014 when I married Brian Dodd. Since then the firm continues to grow. We practice family law, criminal defense, traffic/DWI, and personal injury. We practice in St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls and Marion Counties, and the municipalities included therein.
