About Jessica

In 1997, I was hired by a Birmingham based title company as an in-house real estate researcher, also known as an abstractor. Four years later, having been won over by the entrepreneurial spirit, I dared to start my own business as an independent abstractor, providing attorneys and title companies with quality research services. The experience was both frightening and thrilling, but thankfully, I had a few mentors to guide me along my path.
Working in courthouses throughout the state, I became fascinated with our legal system, and curious about how I might forge a career as an attorney. I met lawyers who took the time to talk to me, and who encouraged me to investigate this profession. Curiosity became a desire, and that desire became a goal.
I graduated from Birmingham School of Law in May of 2018 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar the following April.
In May of 2019, staying true to my independent character, I formed the law firm of j.r.g.HUDSON,l.l.c. Now, I welcome the opportunity to provide my clients with professional legal services tailored to their individual needs.
