Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Justin initially pursued a career in broadcasting, and then later Public Relations. He graduated magna cum laude from Central Michigan University in 2005 with a degree in Public Relations, and graduated magna cum laude from the Seattle University School of Law in 2012. He graduated in the top ten percent of his graduating class.
