About Alicia

Prior to founding my own law firm, I served as a prosecutor at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Few lawyers have knowledge about the inner details of the criminal [injustice] system. I am proud to use my experiences as a prosecutor to help win your case.

In my career, I have also appeared in immigration courts across the country. Some of my fondest memories include fighting for my clients to remain in the United States with their families.

The immeasurable cases in which I have appeared means I get to use all of these cumulative experiences to help you.

As a defense lawyer, I strive to remain at the cutting edge of legal development. As a result, I have taught at (or attended) numerous legal conferences:

University of Wyoming Immigration Law Guest Lecturer (2020)
Lawyer Up Immigration and Criminal Defense Guest Lecturer (2020)
Lawyer Archives Criminal Defense Guest Lecturer (2020)
Athens Technical College Civil Liberties Panel Guest Lecturer (2020)
Evaluation and Preparation of a DUI Case Seminar (2020)
Search and Seizure Seminar (2020)
Evaluating and Preparing a Sexual Assault Trial Seminar (2020)
Impeachment: A Guide to Attacking Witness Credibility (2020)
Prosecuting Attorney’s Council Annual Summer Conference (2019)
American Immigration Lawyers Association Annual Conference on Immigration Law (2018)

I obtained a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Georgia School of Law with the following distinctions:

Inducted into the Order of the Barristers (an honors organization recognizing excellence in advocacy)
Melvin England Mock Trial Competition, Finalist
Intrastate Moot Court Competition, Finalist
Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, Managerial Board
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a Minor in Philosophy from Georgia Southern University. As an undergraduate student, I gained the following distinctions.

Inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Society
Hope Scholarship

Outside of my law practice, I am the founder of theluncheonlawyer foundation. A non profit organization providing scholarships to aspiring lawyers.

My experience, training, and emphasis on courtroom advocacy helps me better represent you and your needs.
