Non-profits

April Funches wanted to help her hometown get smarter about diversity, social justice and equality. She and some like-minded community members decided to form the Taunton Diversity Network in Taunton, MA. They wanted to be a legitimate non-profit, so they found and used free DIY forms you can find online. But they quickly realized there is a world of rules and regulations to comply with if you want to be a legally functional non-profit and properly account for donations.

They needed governing documents and sound BOD policies and procedures. Enter LawChamps attorney
Sankeetha Selvarajah, who is working with the Taunton Diversity Network to craft a strong Mission Statement and align all their corporate documents, policies, and procedures.
